The Sheriff and Eli (does Eli have his own cool nickname?) did not ride into NFT town without some hired guns. Backing them up on this project and creating the artwork are artists Micah Johnson and JK5, aka Joseph Ari Aloi. Both artists have extensive careers in the art world. Johnson is a former MLB player who has turned to using his self-taught art talents to fight racism and challenge societal paradigms. JK5 has been a creator for nearly 30 years, expressing his creativity across a broad range of mediums including fashion, literature, and most recently, NFTs.
We have yet to see a drop embrace the theme of family so strongly like this effort from Peyton and Eli, playing up their brotherhood and paying homage to their father and patriarch, Archie Manning. Some of the tokens also showcase the brothers’ off-field endeavors, shouting out the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis and Tackle Kids Cancer, an organization Eli has been involved with raising funds for pediatric cancer research and patient care programs. Some proceeds from the drop will go towards these causes.
